i got a problem with the eyes, when i draw eyes they always suck, how do you guys/girls make your eyes? you completly fill them or what?

I need help please. I'm going to make a manga in far (far) future and I have already drawn some characters and thought of their names. But it's not easy to find a good name. So I have got 2 names for every of my main characters (a boy and a girl) but I can't decide so please choose 1 of the male names and 1 of the female names you like most.

Why do you like anime art?

Ok guys; a few days ago my friend asked me 'Why I like drawing anime' I was clueless on how to answer him. I was sort of curious why I liked drawing cutsie wutsie pictures and why I continued to draw anime. I guess I like to draw anime because of the way it appeals to me aesthetically.

I would like to know why:

1) You 'like' to draw anime, how does it appeal to you

2) What inspired you to draw anime

3) What makes you want to continue drawing anime

Any possible explanation would ...

I used to love drawing when I was a kid, now im older(16) and had to draw some stuff for school work last year i realised I was good at drawing...Hence what I'm doing here. I dont often get time to draw so when I do I make the most out of it. These are my two proud images.

Alright guys, finally got the hang of my scanner so I decided to share some of my drawings/sketches with everyone. Comments of any nature are welcome, I'm always looking to improve so constructive criticism is always nice as well. These first ones are kind of my own Bleach character I made out of boredom one day. A friend and I are working on a story for him, however I'm doing all of the drawing... The last one I never got around to finishing so I just left it how it is, and I know his armor ...

I want to learn how to draw them better... I know the basics (proportions are the same as the head's length, no? and usually no noses, big eyes to show expression more and the whole thing is simplified) but I can't seem to get it right... I guess I'll practice these heheh.

When I draw my character, I always draw their parts in a certain order: Everything, but the hands first, then hands. Why do I draw the hands last? Because they are the single most frustrating part of the human body to copy *properly* onto paper. The hands can turn the coolest piece of art, into a complete disaster. As a result, alot of people usually draw their characters with hands in pockets, or like my sister does, behind their backs. I draw them clenched in a fist. Horrendous, squiggly fingers ...

I'm gone for a week and look what happens. Everything is completely different. I wasn't even sure that I was on the same site that I usually visited.
