Cool, thanks! ^_^ I'm still working on some other drawings of him (having trouble shading the hair in one...), and I'm also making his theme song. The melody is down, I just need to find the best way to arrange it.

Lol! Thanks alot! ^_____^; I have two quick sketches today:

I decided to go ahead and post the sketch of the Jyochi pic I was coloring. Jyochi frightened:

He looks scared. Sorry about the hands. Still practicing! x_O;

Also - Ruth! She runs the late night diner (which is actually open all day) in Jyochi's home town with her brother, Russ. She's kind and outgoing, and would never be seen without her apron and hair net (she claims it's good advertisment, but I think it's something else). Jyochi stops by the diner everyday to chow down his favorite dish: Pancakes with mustard.

Still workin' on that one foot.

Edit - Finished coloring Ruth!

Thanks! I'm glad you think so. The reason I started drawing was to try and recreate the emotion found in anime and manga.

If you want, you can listen to the song I made for Jyochi:
[It's Filefront] Sad

I used a freeware open-sourced program called the Gimp, and air brushed Ruth. I'm trying to cel-shade Jyochi, but it's taking forever. >_<;; Ruth was pretty easy, aside from redrawing her foot with a mouse.

XD No problem! I'm happy to answer all questions. ^^

To make the song, I used a combination of (complex) programs. First, to compose the song, I used DirectMusic Producer (google it. kinda hard to find on Microsoft's website. Free though, and great for game music). It uses a piano roll, so you don't have to know the notes, but it has a steep learning curve. Wink Then I used the Fluid soundfonts from SF2Midi.com and loaded them into DMP. I had to convert them to DLS first using Awave Studio and since I only have the trial version, I have to do it one instrument at a time... Then I recorded the output using the record function in my soundcard's (Sound Blaster Audigy SE) Wave editor (Audacity can be used for this as well, and you can download it for free), playing it through Sound Blaster's EAX (reverb effect) concert hall turned up to 55. Then I convert it to MP3 using the same program.

Here are the links to all of the programs I mentioned above:

[DirectMusic Producer] - *It uses DirectMusic, and it's made by Microsoft, so Windows Only?*

[Fluid Soundfonts] - *SF2Midi.com - You need to sign up for their free membership, I think...*

[Awave Studio] -*Shareware - But uninstalling it, and reinstalling it again works, and I don't think it's wrong (they would have corrected it in the newer versions, right?).

[Audacity] - *Freeware, open-sourced audio editor.*

XD Watch what you say, Puu! Ruth's younger over-protective brother, Russell is right behind you. If he heard you say that he'd probably be hitting you with his favorite iron cast skillet.

Don't worry though. He's a real softy. He won't hurt you too much.
